Did you know that the thoughts in your head are often affected by how you are feeling? Did you know that not everything you are feeling belongs to you?
Let me demonstrate with an example from my own life.
One Saturday in 2005 I came back home from a shopping trip in town. All morning my heart was full of joy. It was a lovely sunny day, there was a happy vibe in town and I felt great!
I came home and was met by my husband. He seemed calm. But within minutes of being with him I was suddenly very angry and began to shout at him! Eventually I stormed into our house and left him to work in the garden.
As I stood alone in my kitchen I began to calm down. And then I noticed that my body felt really horrible. It was as if my blood was prickly. I had never felt this in my body before.
Then I wondered why I was angry. I had been very happy all morning. I had only become angry once I was with my husband.
I went outside to question him.
"Are you angry about something?" I asked. He still appeared calm.
But he admitted he had been furious with me all morning and there were three things that were making him so angry.
Even though he was doing a good job of hiding his anger it was still in his aura (his energy field) and because I am sensitive and had been standing so close to him his energy field had been touching mine and my body responded to his anger.
He was able to hold it inside and appear calm. But I could not hold it inside so I exploded in rage.
But it was not my anger.
It was his.
I shouted the anger he was pretending he didn't have because I could not hold it inside me. It needed to come out.
At the time I felt so angry and it felt like it was mine. I felt angry so I must be angry. Right? Wrong!
It was not my energy. It was my husband's anger.
As long as I had his angry energy affecting my body all my thoughts were affected too. I felt his anger in my body and my mind was instantly angry too. It was only when he went down to the end of the garden that his anger cleared out of my energy field and I came back to normal.
When you are in public places with big crowds of people around you can easily be affected by their energy too. If you find you suddenly feel scared or angry when you are in busy places you are picking up the energy of the crowd around you.
Breathe deeply and affirm that you feel calm or happy and know that this is not yours. It will fall away...
The same can happen when you watch the news on the television. You can feel scared because so many other people watching the news are feeling scared.
The thoughts and feelings of a huge group of people can feel very strong and if you are touched by it, you will think it is your opinion or belief and you will feel what the crowd is feeling.
But it is not you. It is the mentality of the crowd and it can pull you out of centre and it will feel as if it is you. But when you question why you suddenly feel that way you will not have any reason.
Decide to breathe deeply and bring your focus back inside of you. Deliberately remember your name, where you live, your favourite food etc.
Keep breathing slowly and consciously, listening to the soothing sound of your breath. And ask your Angels to help you to balance your energy.
