There are a lot of horrifying stories on the news programmes that can make us think we live in a dangerous world. But is it really true? Yes, bad things are happening but does that really mean it will happen to you too?
I have an American friend who travelled to Europe in 1988 for a holiday. She booked her flights to and from Europe and set off for a terrific holiday - her first trip overseas.
She had a great time but she discovered it was more expensive than being in America and her money ran out before she was due to return home. So she changed her flight and came home one week early. She then got on with her everyday life.
A week later she saw something on the news.
A terrorist bomb blew up the original return flight home, which she had booked for 21 December, as it flew over Scotland (UK). There were no survivors on that plane and people in the village below were killed too. That terrorist event is known as the Lockerbie Bombing - named after the Scottish village where the wreckage of that plane landed.
My friend is still alive and well all these years later and enjoying her life. Although all her family and friends love her dearly, there is nothing particularly extraordinary about her. She has not run for President or done anything political locally. She is not Oprah Winfrey or anybody famous. She is a normal woman living a normal life. And she is still alive because her money ran out. Or so it seems.
Do you think it was an accident that her money ran out and she came home early?
Is it possible there was no mistake in that?
She is still alive to tell the tale in 2018 and the world is so much richer for her presence here.

I spent the whole of January 2012 in Houston, Texas couch-surfing at Rick's place. I deliberately write it that way as I am currently in Casablanca and movie buffs can laugh at the pun.
Rick was a great host - he wanted to make sure I got to see all the things I wanted to experience. Had he thought to ask me if I would like to go to the NASA Space Centre I would have been in his van within 3 seconds. Actually, I would have got there before he even finished his sentence!!!
But instead he asked me did I like museums. I told him, "No, I hate museums. The only way I would go to a museum is if they have the Tutankhamun Exhibition!" Rick shrugged and we changed the subject.
A few days later I was being driven back to Rick's place after a day out with a lady from a different part of Houston. I had no idea where I was because I had only walked in Rick's local neighbourhood. So I took her word for it when she said, "Oh! I have missed the turning. I should have gone left there. Ok, I will take the next left turn."
She drove into a wide one-way road, staying in the left lane so that she could take that next left turning easily. I was daydreaming, admiring the scenery. She suddenly exclaimed, "Oh no! I forgot to turn left again! Ok, I will take the next left turning." and she kept driving.
But a few minutes later she exclaimed again, "I forgot to turn left again!" At this point I looked at her and said, "Maybe we are not on the wrong road. Let's just keep driving straight and see what happens." She decided to humour me.
After a while we came upon a set of traffic lights and they turned to red just as we approached. We sat at the left-hand side curb waiting for the lights to change back to green. I noticed that there was a huge billboard on the building on the left hand corner just ahead of us. I took a closer look.
This billboard was bigger than a bus. Well we were in Texas after all!!! Hahaha!
But I was absolutely dumbfounded when I read the information that was displayed there.
Tutankhamun Exhibition, in Houston!
I looked for the dates. It was in Houston from September 2011 until March 2012. I sat bolt upright in my seat. 'Oh My God! It's here right now!!!' I grabbed a piece of paper and a pen from my bag and scribbled down the name of the museum. Then I turned to the lady sitting next to me. I said, "You can take me home now. I've seen what I needed to see!" and she finally managed to take the left-hand turn.
Rick took me to see the Tutankhamun Exhibition a few days later. It was really great but even an Egyptian king and his treasure could not beat the moment when I sat in the NASA Johnson Space Centre looking into the actual Mission Control room where they had directed the first men to walk on the moon in July 1969. My soul cried tears of pure joy to be in that magical place. And soul tears are flowing again as I write about it now...
I learned something very important on that drive back to Rick's place - going the long way round...
It seems that when I need to know something my Angels and Guides will do whatever they have to do so that I can receive the information that I need. They could have inspired somebody to talk about the exhibition but they didn't. They could have shown us an advert in a newspaper but they didn't. They had a lot more fun hijacking the car I was travelling in and stopping the traffic lights to give me a sign - literally a HUGE sign right there on the wall in front of me!
Do you know you are safe in this world?
I have met several people who have been saved from certain death, including me.

SAFE! Part One

In 2008 I was visiting Happy Jack, Arizona USA for a week when an old lady asked me to do a singing bowl session with her. I was staying with her friend who had some very strong spiritual gifts of her own. Just as we were getting ready for our session I had a sudden inspiration.
I asked the friend if she would look at our auras now before we started the session and then take another look when she came back for me later - she could tell me what was different... She agreed, took a look at our auras and left.
The singing bowl session was wonderful and the session was complete when the friend returned to take me home with her. But she had a surprise for us both. At her house she had been inspired to tune in to our auras during the actual sound session and she had drawn a picture for each of us to show what she had seen while the session was actually in progress.
The picture for the old lady showed her lying inside a big blue egg. Her whole aura was a healing shade of blue. But it was the picture of me that was particularly interesting...
My aura contained two colours - a thin band of yellow around my body and then the rest of it was all purple. She had done her best to draw what she had seen. She explained that there had been lots of vortices of purple energy moving around through all of the purple energy. She had drawn each vortex as a purple spiral inside the purple egg that was most of my aura...
But it was the drawing of me that was the most interesting thing.
She said that no matter how hard she tried to draw me as a human she just could not. She had to draw me as an angel.
It seems that when I am doing my sound work I drop my human persona and become all angel!!

I had already done my singing bowl therapy training in Boudha, Kathmandu but now I was building up a full set of therapy bowls for myself. My wonderful friend, Saroj, was working in the shop that day but although they had more than 100 bowls of various sizes on display they did not have the one I wanted.
He pulled down the shutter to the shop and we went to the main storeroom nearby. The room was not very exciting (unless you like singing bowls) - shelving was on 3 1/2 walls of the room from floor to ceiling. And bowls filled every space on those shelves. The floor itself was also covered in piles of bowls. The only other things in the room were some sticks and cushions, an industrial weighing scale and a small Nepali stool.
We both entered the room and he shut the door behind me. That was when the trouble started. We began to laugh. And we could not stop. We laughed and laughed non-stop for probably more than 10 minutes! It really was hysterical but we had no reason to be laughing. What was going on???
Eventually Saroj managed to stop laughing just long enough to ask, "Leona, why are we laughing?" and I was able to stutter a quick, "I don't know" before we were off again in fits of giggles. What was going on?
Finally we were able to calm down and return to some sense of normality. Saroj suggested that I sit down on the stool and he would pass the bowls to me so I could try them out.
The stool had a blue catalogue sitting on top of it. I picked it up and was astonished to discover that it was a business telephone directory! Dear God! Nepalis are that organised?? I was astounded. As I went to put it on a nearby shelf I had an impulse to turn the book over and look on the back cover.
Oh my goodness! I have no idea what kind of business it was that had bought a full-page advert for that back cover. I only noticed their name. In large capital letters it said,
" ANGEL "
I knew there were angels working with me when I use my bowls but that day there was some kind of angel party going on in the singing bowl storeroom! Angel energy is a very high joyful vibration and the two of us just could not hold it in...
It seems that angels don't just use white feathers to let people know they are around. Sometimes they just point out the obvious with one simple word.
