I spent the whole of January 2012 in Houston, Texas couch-surfing at Rick's place. I deliberately write it that way as I am currently in Casablanca and movie buffs can laugh at the pun.
Rick was a great host - he wanted to make sure I got to see all the things I wanted to experience. Had he thought to ask me if I would like to go to the NASA Space Centre I would have been in his van within 3 seconds. Actually, I would have got there before he even finished his sentence!!!
But instead he asked me did I like museums. I told him, "No, I hate museums. The only way I would go to a museum is if they have the Tutankhamun Exhibition!" Rick shrugged and we changed the subject.
A few days later I was being driven back to Rick's place after a day out with a lady from a different part of Houston. I had no idea where I was because I had only walked in Rick's local neighbourhood. So I took her word for it when she said, "Oh! I have missed the turning. I should have gone left there. Ok, I will take the next left turn."
She drove into a wide one-way road, staying in the left lane so that she could take that next left turning easily. I was daydreaming, admiring the scenery. She suddenly exclaimed, "Oh no! I forgot to turn left again! Ok, I will take the next left turning." and she kept driving.
But a few minutes later she exclaimed again, "I forgot to turn left again!" At this point I looked at her and said, "Maybe we are not on the wrong road. Let's just keep driving straight and see what happens." She decided to humour me.
After a while we came upon a set of traffic lights and they turned to red just as we approached. We sat at the left-hand side curb waiting for the lights to change back to green. I noticed that there was a huge billboard on the building on the left hand corner just ahead of us. I took a closer look.
This billboard was bigger than a bus. Well we were in Texas after all!!! Hahaha!
But I was absolutely dumbfounded when I read the information that was displayed there.
Tutankhamun Exhibition, in Houston!
I looked for the dates. It was in Houston from September 2011 until March 2012. I sat bolt upright in my seat. 'Oh My God! It's here right now!!!' I grabbed a piece of paper and a pen from my bag and scribbled down the name of the museum. Then I turned to the lady sitting next to me. I said, "You can take me home now. I've seen what I needed to see!" and she finally managed to take the left-hand turn.
Rick took me to see the Tutankhamun Exhibition a few days later. It was really great but even an Egyptian king and his treasure could not beat the moment when I sat in the NASA Johnson Space Centre looking into the actual Mission Control room where they had directed the first men to walk on the moon in July 1969. My soul cried tears of pure joy to be in that magical place. And soul tears are flowing again as I write about it now...
I learned something very important on that drive back to Rick's place - going the long way round...
It seems that when I need to know something my Angels and Guides will do whatever they have to do so that I can receive the information that I need. They could have inspired somebody to talk about the exhibition but they didn't. They could have shown us an advert in a newspaper but they didn't. They had a lot more fun hijacking the car I was travelling in and stopping the traffic lights to give me a sign - literally a HUGE sign right there on the wall in front of me!
Do you know you are safe in this world?
I have met several people who have been saved from certain death, including me.
